Sustainable Travel


Inspired by the Australian Queen of all things sustainable and eco-friendly (otherwise known as the hilarious and wonderful LC of Birdgehls), over the last year and a bit I’ve slowly begun to transition into a much more “planet-friendly” way of living, both at home and while I travel. As a serial trip-taker (one holiday a year for me would be like a prison sentence, I need at least 3 to keep me going or I shrivel up and become a prune), I’m all too aware of the effects that planes and their carbon emissions have on the environment and, whereas I’m not yet at the point where I’d be willing to give up my beloved long-haul seat 27A, I do try and offset my contribution to the planet’s destruction elsewhere.
