Privacy Policy & Disclosure

by rhiydwi

This is going to be hella boring for you to read but all this legal jargon has to be here or else I’ll get sued, so here we go…

Copyright

First up, copyright! When you were in school did you ever come up with a really great (like, so great!) idea for a project only for your frenemy to announce it to the teacher, taking all credit? Yeah, nobody likes to have their work stolen! So please don’t steal mine.

This site will occasionally use Stock Photos. These will be clearly marked and due credit given. If a photo is not marked as stock, then you can assume that all rights associated with that photo belong to me.

Except as permitted by the copyright law applicable to you, you may not reproduce or communicate any of the content on this website, including files downloadable from this website, without the permission of the copyright owner.

The owners of copyright in the content on this website may receive compensation for the use of their content by educational institutions and governments, including from licensing schemes managed by Copyright Agency.

We may change these terms of use from time to time. Check before re-using any content from this website.

If you do want to use any of the content featured on this website, just pop a message to rhiannon@walestowherever.com and we can discuss.

Affiliates Disclosure

This site uses affiliate links. I mean, girl gotta eat, right?!

Affiliate links are links that direct to another Site that offers a service or product. If you purchase something through this link I will get a small commission at no extra cost to you, which will help go towards the running of this site. These links will always be disclosed.

As well as Affiliate links, occasionally (like, very occasionally) I will be offered a product or service to review in exchange for placement on this Site. This could be anything from a coffee cup to a day tour to a fully all-inclusive trip to the Bahamas. A gal can dream. Rest assured that if I ever receive anything for “free” (inverted commas because nothing in life is free, my friends), this will clearly be disclosed on the relevant article or page. I only work with brands and products that I am truly passionate about and would honestly recommend, so you can trust that I won’t ever try and sell you tat just to make a quick buck.

Privacy Policy

Here we go. This is the legal jargon part, so get your study cap on!

Who we are

Wales to Wherever (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the https://walestowherever.com website (the “Service”).

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

When commenting, your email address will not be made public and we will not use it to contact you in any way unless you opt in to receiving updates by email.

Contact forms

Contact forms on this website work very much in the same way as Comments.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
