10 Awesome Travel Instagram Accounts to Follow

… with less than 10k followers. Should it be “travel Instagram accounts” or “Instagram travel accounts“? I feel like it should be the latter, but the first one rolls off the tongue way easier so that’s what I’m sticking to. Please excuse me for sounding like a middle-aged mother of 3 trying to get down with the kids, but Instagram is my jam. I love it. I’ve mentioned before that the main reason I like it so much is because it’s the perfect platform to share my travel photos and stories without coming across as some self-obsessed, haha I’m on holiday and you’re…

3 Days in Krakow: The Lowdown

My trip to Krakow didn’t exactly get off to the best start. I rocked up to Sophia Gardens an hour early for my bus to the airport, absolutely buzzing that I’d actually managed to find my way there all by myself (plus a teeny tiny bit of help from Apple Maps but shh, nobody needs to actually know that) without any catastrophic disasters. Maybe you’re wondering why I’ve continued to post about Poland in the interim. Well, thank Gouda for scheduling is all I can say to that. And I’m not writing this for sympathy. Not at all. I’m writing this now because…well, I don’t know why. The only explanation I have is that she was – and will remain to be – a huge part of my life, a huge part of what I…

Krakow’s Darkest Secrets Revealed

The Macabre Krakow walking tour was a pleasant surprise for me. Before arriving in Krakow, the only thing I knew that I really, really wanted to do was visit Auschwitz. Other than that, I was clueless. Not only was I clueless, but I was also kind of penniless and so ‘cheap and cheerful’ was even more of a priority than usual. And that’s saying a lot when you bear in mind that I’m cheaper than Christmas baubles in February at the best of times. So yeah, when we arrived in Krakow the first thing on the agenda was to find something cheap and…
