2016 Travel Plans v.2

This post may or may not contain affiliate links, meaning if you happen to click on one I might earn a little bit of dinero at no extra cost to you. And you’ll get a warm fuzzy feeling inside for helping to keep the site alive. Go you!

The online version of me has been absolutely silent for the past ten days – no new blog posts and no silently (and not-so-silently) stalking other people’s blogs. It’s with good reason, though – I have finally booked my one-way ticket out of here, handed in my official notice at work and started to throw all my belongings into one bag! So it’s officially official now

As per my previous post – 2016 Travel Plans – the original plan was to start off in Goa, then Kerala and fly to Mexico. However, one very last minute split-second decision has completely changed that around, and now my basic itinerary is:

Fly LondonSri Lanka

Fly to Kerala, India

Fly Kerala to Brazil, with a one-day layover in Dubai

Travel through S America to Colombia

Island hop across to Panama

Somehow end up in Mexico

Fly to Australia & NZ

Sri Lanka has ended up being a very welcome though unexpected addition to this trip, and the more I research what it has to offer, the more I just know it will be one of those places I just never want to leave!

This time in 31 days I will be halfway across the world about to embark on what will probably be the best adventure of my life, and I absolutely cannot wait!

Thank you, I’m so excited I’m annoying myself just thinking about it haha! On a completely unrelated note, my little sister is called Meg so every time I get a notification from/about you I think you’re her. Even though she doesn’t read my blog, haha.
