The online version of me has been absolutely silent for the past ten days – no new blog posts and no silently (and not-so-silently) stalking other people’s blogs. It’s with good reason, though – I have finally booked my one-way ticket out of here, handed in my official notice at work and started to throw all my belongings into one bag! So it’s officially official now
As per my previous post – 2016 Travel Plans – the original plan was to start off in Goa, then Kerala and fly to Mexico. However, one very last minute split-second decision has completely changed that around, and now my basic itinerary is:
Fly London –Sri Lanka
⇓
Fly to Kerala, India
⇓
Fly Kerala to Brazil, with a one-day layover in Dubai
⇓
Travel through S America to Colombia
⇓
Island hop across to Panama
⇓
Somehow end up in Mexico
⇓
Fly to Australia & NZ
Sri Lanka has ended up being a very welcome though unexpected addition to this trip, and the more I research what it has to offer, the more I just know it will be one of those places I just never want to leave!
This time in 31 days I will be halfway across the world about to embark on what will probably be the best adventure of my life, and I absolutely cannot wait!
