A Note on Being A Good Person

A few weeks ago a very good man left this earth and moved on to what he always believed to be a better place.  He was in his early thirties, in an apparently good state of health and had been married for just 21 days when he suddenly collapsed, suffered a brain haemorrhage and died. He’d just got home from his honeymoon, where he spent a few weeks travelling around his country, Sri Lanka, which he loved so much. Lake Bled, A Real Life Fairytale Destination

There are two places on this planet that immediately spring to mind when someone talks about real-life fairytale locations. One is Neuschwanstein Castle (of course), and the other is Slovenia’s Lake Bled. Located just a few-hours drive from the capital of Ljubljana, Lake Bled is bordered by the town of Bled, home of Bled Castle. Letters to Dead People | Six Months

I’ve always been that person. The one who rolls their eyes at the “Miss you so much, hope you’re partying up in Heaven xoxo” Facebook statuses on Christmas/Mother’s Day/birthdays. The one who thinks selfies with gravestones are morbid and unnecessary. Dead people don’t have Facebook; it’s probably quite hard to get WiFi connection that high up.
